Innovation matters most when it improves how we operate every day.
LF Bioenergy is proud that our work with Texas Automation Systems (TAS) has been recognized by Inductive Automation as a 2026 Discover Gallery Award winner.
The award acknowledges LF Bioenergy’s approach to renewable natural gas: combining advanced technology, engineering expertise, operational experience, and agriculture to build facilities that operate safely, reliably, and efficiently.
“This recognition reflects the innovation, collaboration, and technical expertise of our team and our farmer partners,” said Lee Laviolette, CEO and Co-Founder of LF Bioenergy. “We are building systems that strengthen our operations today while supporting LF Bioenergy’s continued growth.”
Across LF Bioenergy’s dairy RNG facilities, automation and real-time operational visibility help our teams better understand complex processes, respond quickly, make informed decisions, and continuously improve facility performance.
Katie Cross Hooks, P.E., Senior Technical Solutions Engineer at LF Bioenergy, said the project demonstrates what is possible when technology is designed around the people who use it. “What we have built at LF Bioenergy is a standardized technology platform that gives our operators the information they need, when they need it, regardless of which facility they are operating,” said Cross. “By bringing real-time data, remote visibility, intuitive operator interfaces, and more effective alarm management together in one system, we can identify issues faster, make better-informed decisions, and continuously improve facility performance.”
At the center of every LF Bioenergy dairy RNG project is a partnership with a farmer.
For Patrick Christian, owner of Christian Hill Dairy, the technology supports a broader connection between agriculture and renewable energy. “As farmers, we are always looking for ways to make our operations stronger for the next generation. This project takes something we manage every day—manure—and turns it into a valuable renewable energy resource. It’s a partnership that connects dairy farming, technology, and sustainability in a very practical way.”
What makes this milestone acknowledgement especially meaningful is the people behind the technology—the farmers, operators, engineers, and partners whose expertise, teamwork, and commitment bring these projects to life every day.
We’re grateful to Texas Automation Systems, Inductive Automation, Patrick Christian, our dairy farm partners, and the LF Bioenergy team for helping make this achievement possible.
